so if the ps3 is used as a bluray player and continuously sells more movies how is shipping 90k a significant fact? So the idea that toshiba dropped the price to $99 and i already know that the ps3 dropped its price twice, so my point is say 2.5 million ps3 owners buy 2(5mil) movies each and the 90k hd dvd players sold buy 3 movies(270k) how is that a significant gain? just some questions i would like answers 2, thanks!

so how is this any different than the artificial facts conjured up about the Xbox 360 version of MGS4? In my opinion there is always a chance that this exclusive could end up on 360 some time after the ps3 version. But the guy who posted the 16 vs 18 miltiplayer could have got incorrect second hand information, no one is to blame. 1/4 of the posts on this site are not backed by fact.

Once Spiderman sales figures come out, i think we will see an even more lopsided number for that week 3-1. Then once pirates 3 comes out hd-dvd's ship is sunk. Not even shrek3 will be able to mount a comeback.
i bought this game for my girlfriend and she is having a blast. I watch her play it sometimes and it has to be one of the most interesting games released to date. I cant wait for her to finish so i can get my hands on it.

I just want to ask would all of the Xbox fans have bought the 360 if it cost 650 dollars when it was released? So personally i think it is doing relatively well considering price point. Also just a few weeks ago wasn't it shown that the ps3 was on par with the 360 in terms of sales for the first 11 months. How is that possible, isnt HD-DVD a 15gb per layer disk. Maybe it is my crazy math ability but never has 15*3 equalled 51, last time i checked should have been 45. Correct me if i am missing something.
I have only ever seen one 360 with red ring of death and it was at future shop, and i know lots of people who play the hell out of their console. I never thought it was a big deal, can i see some references that indicate otherwise. Thank you

As a canadian i have had nothing but good things to say about my Playstation 3. I enjoyed Lair, Heavenly Sword, GRAW 2, Rainbow Six Vegas, All these ports still play fine on my system. I choose a ps3 over a 360 for games like Resistance heavenly sword and MGS4. So just be happy with the system you bought and shut your pie hole and quite with the mine is better, blah blah blah. Enjoy your console,and shut up.
Every electronics store you walk into there is nothing but Halo 3 figures, posters pictures at the check out at the walmart at every future shop and eb games everywhere there is Halo 3. all i am saying is we all know that halo 3 was coming but it is a little excessive.
I live in a small city in canada, and they are forcing halo down our throats, but there are probably 40 copies sold and they have a whole section dedicated to it. I am very surprised at this as all my buddies in university have 360's.
I agree with one of the previous speakers. If MS would have went with HDDVD it would not be an issue. But it is also not a big deal to get off the Frikin couch to change a disk. If you b!tch about that you are one lazy mother f*cker. I would play this game on 360 once my friends get it.
i bought a copy, it was awesome( i missed it in the theatre). cant wait for Pirates 3(missed that one 2). The problem i had was the person who worked at the Future Shop was tryings to tell me i was wasting my time, i was like and you are? who the hell does he think he is trying to push another format when i obviously have a bluray player(ps3). Any body else ever have this happen?
